Our last batch of fellows from the Angat Sining Fellowship for Visual Arts has finally graduated! 🎓

Over the course of eight months, they journeyed alongside nine other fellows, now all pursuing their college degrees, through an enriching experience of mentorship, creativity, and discovery.

Guided by esteemed artists such as National Artists BenCab and Kidlat Tahimik, as well as Mark Justiniani, Toym Imao, AG Saño, Fotobaryo, The Mighty Bhutens, and Ang Ilustrador ng Kabataan the fellows explored a wide range of art forms including painting, mural art, children’s book illustration, mosaic, photography, sculpture, and public art.

Today, Riva, Juro, and Eicyd are now pursuing their dreams, carrying the hope that everything they’ve learned from the fellowship will continue to guide them through the paths they choose to take.

🎖 Riva Xundra Ryoi C. Awat is now pursuing Bachelor of Secondary Education in English at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines.

🎖 Prinz Juro Rongcal is now pursuing Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering at Pampanga State University.

🎖 Eicyd Timothy F. Rico is now pursuing Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at the University of the Philippines - Diliman.

This program was made possible through the support of our donors and partners, Ateneo De Manila Fine Arts Department and Metrobank Foundation, Inc.
