PREPARING FOR EL NIÑO, TOGETHER 💧

Across the Philippines, many communities already face unreliable access to water. For some families, this means crossing the sea to collect water from another barangay or relying on rain to fill their containers.

El Niño can deepen these inequalities, placing a greater burden on families with limited alternatives when supplies run low.

Together with Waves For Water Philippines, Angat Buhay provided rainwater catchment tanks as part of our anticipatory action, helping communities collect and store water ahead of potential shortages.

Through bayanihan, we are supporting early preparation so communities have more options and families face fewer difficult choices when water becomes scarce.

No family should have to wait for the water to run out before help arrives.
