Sometimes, having the confidence to speak up, share an idea, or try something unfamiliar begins with knowing that someone believes in you.

Through the English Access Scholarship Program, 62 Grade 12 students from public schools in Naga City and El Nido are strengthening their English communication, academic writing, and critical thinking skills as they prepare for college and future opportunities.

With every discussion and presentation, we hope our scholars grow more confident in what they can do and in the value of what they have to say.

English Access is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs and administered by the U.S. Embassy in the Philippines through its Regional English Language Office (RELO), with Angat Buhay working alongside DepEd Naga, the Naga City Government, the El Nido LGU, and DepEd Palawan.
